Best time to visit Aruba

Oh, Aruba! I remember the first time I read about this island, everything seemed too good to be true. And as it turns out, everything is too good and too true! Whenever you decide to go to this Caribbean paradise will be perfect, I’m 1000% sure about it.

And even though I had to do so much research before I went to the Caribbean I now consider myself an expert on this subject…well, almost!

This is why I have written all of this information so you don’t have to spend hours of your life searching and searching for relevant facts. With everything I have written, you will have a complete guide of some of the most beautiful islands that are found in the Caribbean.

Whether you are going by yourself, with family or friends, Aruba is a ‘’must go and must-see’’ island. In other words, if you haven’t already made up your mind, Aruba should be your next destination, for sure.

Continue reading and discover what Aruba has to offer, but most importantly WHEN it can offer you this. With the correct information in your hands, you will soon be able to book your trip to paradise.

What about the weather?

Let’s say that you have already made your decision: you will go to Aruba sooner than later. And by that, I mean, within the next year. So, you have come across my website and are willing to learn everything you need to know before your T-day (you know, traveling day).

Therefore, the next question you should have in your mind is most likely: when is the best time to visit Aruba? And I have one answer for you: now.

‘’Wait for a second, now?’’ I can hear some of you screaming this to your computer screen. And the truth is that yes, you should be booking your holiday to Aruba now, as in, whenever that now is for you.

But why am I saying this to you? Why am I encouraging you to book a holiday like this? Well, you would love to know that Aruba is just outside the hurricane belt that usually affects other nearby islands. So, you will not have to worry about tropical storms ruining your holiday.

In other words, your trip to Aruba will not be disrupted by the announcements of a hurricane, or by simply bad weather. In fact, it can be said that this Caribbean island has great weather all year round. So, don’t worry about your tan, you will definitely get one!

Tell me more about Aruba…

Aruba is definitely one privileged island. Not only it sits outside the hurricane belt (thus escapes some nasty hurricanes that other islands have had to suffer) but this small island is located on a very interesting point.

Of course, there is a rainy season which should go from late October to the end of January (but in reality, this means that it only rains a tiny bit during some days). This is why you will find tourists that visit the island all through the year.

As a consequence, some tourists go visit this Caribbean island from January to March, and they have said that even though the weather is lovely around this time, room prices tend to soar as most people from the north are escaping the cold weather. Which, in all honesty, wouldn’t you do it as well?

Other tourists go to Aruba from April to August, and even though it is not as packed with North American tourists, the island is heavily packed with South American tourists as they are usually on their winter months, and Aruba is always a top destination.

Still, though, this time around is considered as ‘’off-season’’ so you may get really good deals for your accommodation or even when booking a restaurant.

The weather is also very nice from September to December, and to some people, this is the best time to go there, as they will usually spend Christmas, New Years’ Eve, or even Thanks Giving, far away from home, in this beautiful island.

Whichever time you choose to go to this Caribbean island, always keep in mind that Aruba has great weather all year round. If you end up going from March to June the temperatures have a low of mid-70s and a high of mid-80s, so, not bad at all, hey?

What are you looking for?

It is fair to say that the best time to visit Aruba will solely depend on the type of vacations you would like to have and experience. And I’m not only talking about the weather, as I am also referring to your accommodations, outings, activities, eating out opportunities, and so on.

Think about it, you may be looking forward to escaping the winter but this may mean you will end up in a crowded island paying a lot of money for a hotel room and waiting for two hours or more to get a table in a restaurant.

Perhaps this sounds ideal to you because you really need to go to a warm and sunny place, but you have to balance it all out and decide what is best for what you are looking for. To some other individuals going to Aruba during off-season sounds like a more reasonable idea.

What about the temperature?

Aruba is truly fascinating as it has a tropical climate. In other words, it doesn’t have four seasons, but instead, it only has two seasons: dry and rainy.

When its rainy season you will still get lots of sunshine throughout the day, as rainfall tends to disappear very quickly. And when it’s the dry season, well, let’s just say you will need to prepare yourself as it can get very, very hot.

And just to give you an idea, August is considered the hottest month of the year on the island, with an average daily maximum of 95 F and an average low of 82 F. On the other hand, the coolest month of the year is January, with an average daily maximum of 86 F and an average low of 77 F.

As you can see, Aruba has great weather, regardless of its two seasons, you will still get the holiday you deserve in the Caribbean.

My personal experience…

For me, going to Aruba means I will get to live the Caribbean experience to the fullest. This is why I prefer to head towards the island from August to November as I know the beach will not be crowded, I will be able to find reservations at the most popular restaurants and the dive boats will even give discounted rates.

What’s more, I don’t mind the heat of this time of the year, so going to Aruba is like a dream come true, especially when I know it will start getting colder back home.

And lastly…

As I always say, do your own thinking! Perhaps my reasons to go to Aruba during that specific time of the year are not that relevant to you, and that is perfectly fine! Maybe you have other reasons and that is normal too.

However, I can assure you that whenever you may go to Aruba, you will have such a great time (including great weather) that you will want to continue going back to the smallest of the ABC islands of the Caribbean. Enjoy your holiday!
